Our humble beginning
Established in 2003, Superfresh™ has been proudly serving the Eastwood community and beyond for over 22 years.
What began as a run-down fruit shop was transformed by loved founder Sam Bova, his son Joe and nephew Joe – a family team with a vision to breathe new life into the space and create something special. And that they did!
Backed by three generations of fruiterers, their passion, knowledge,
and dedication helped turn Superfresh into the institution that it is today
- just ask the locals! Their goal? To deliver old-fashioned service, top-quality produce, and honest prices – the way it should be.

The man behind Superfresh
If you haven’t already been charmed by Joe Bova, do yourself a favour and pop into Eastwood’s favourite fruit shop. With his signature grin and old-school service, Joe brings decades of experience as a fresh produce specialist and it shows. If he’s not around, you’ll likely spot another familiar face – his brother Vince, our dedicated Store Manager with his own 20+ years of experience.
